Our story

The D-Day Wings Museum is a historic aviation hangar. In Carpiquet from June 1940 to 1941, the Luftwaffe gathered its Stukas bombers for the Battle of Britain. D-Day Goal! Our hangar will be liberated on 9th July 1944 by the Canadians during Operation Windsor at the cost of hundreds of victims. Come and explore our collection of aircraft and aeronautical pieces to discover what happened in the sky of 6th June, 1944!
